Larkhall – Super One Comer Cadet – Rnd 4

1st Grand Final

It was Caroline’s turn to be bumped back down the order in the second Final, as he fell to 9th, Smith taking up the running from Ryan Anderton and Taylforth. Connor Hall couldn’t quite finish a move on Ticktum at Turn 1, but Ticktum started picking off the six-kart train in front of him.

Taylforth had moved into the lead and now had Ticktum pressing hard, the pair breaking away from Smith, Anderton and Clay. Clay ran wide onto the grass, as Ross Martin went past, and Martin was penalised three places.

Norris reached 7th from the back, but a tangle with Caroline lost him a place or two at the end. Ticktum out-manoeuvred Taylforth round the hairpins, and charged to the win, the top four blanketed by a second.

“I just picked one off every two laps until I got to the front to defend, I’ll fly back to England happy tonight,” said Ticktum.
